GFR did three benefit concerts for the orphans of Bosnia on 4/20/97 in Detroit, 4/25/97 in NYC and 5/2/97 in LA. Liz and I attended the 4/25/97 show at the Beacon in NYC. The band played with the Bosnian symphony orchestra...truly a great show. GFR also appeared on Good Morning America (GMA) on 4/11/97 and the Tonight Show with Leno on 5/2/97. GFR also took part in a benefit concert on 08/07/97 for the flood victims of Fargo, North Dakota. This concert was broadcast over the internet. On 4/14/98, Mark & Don appeared on TV on The Crook & Chase show on TNN. The photos below are from Leno, GMA & the Crook & Chase show. (Pics captured from video using the Alaris quick video capture system). Grand Funk Railroad-Bosnia double live CD was released on 10/21/97.
