On Friday & Saturday January 15 - 16, 1999 the Grand Funk Railroad
Fan Club, Roadkill, met to pay tribute to one of Rocks most influential
acts. The meetings were held from 6pm to 9pm each evening at the
Sheraton Innâs Starlight Lounge in Dover, DE. Roadkill members
played the music of Grand Funk Railroad, answered questions, recorded
information for new members, and promoted Grand Funk Railroadâs
induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also, on Saturday
from 10AM to 4PM, Roadkill members set up in the Sam Goody's music
store in the Dover Mall to further promote the band and in particular
to promote the CD release of the groups 1976 album, "Good Singin',
Good Playin' ", along with the spring release of an anthology
album. The event was orchestrated by Shock "Delaware's # 1 GFR
